Stories from the Shoreline
Explore how we transform lakefronts into picturesque escapes
2 photos of before the work Csnvasback did. They smoothed yard to the lake, protected the lake from construction debris, removed lots of debris including weeds, roots and branches. He laid down coir to hold the top of the soil in place and planted over 750 plugs of native plants. Installed steel edging to confine the plants to their area and to keep lawn grass out of the native area. We are excited to see what each new season will bring to our native landscape. Tanner was happy to come back for a couple small issues and quickly fixed those problems. He added some extra rocks where sand seemed to be sliding off. I would recommend Canvasback outdoor services for any landscape work. Tanner was great through the process of permitting and communication with DNR, county, and watershed district. He kept me updated through the whole process.
Tanner has done several projects from riprap to rock gardens. He is very knowledgeable and has made many suggestions to improve on our original plans. Highly recommend them.
Tanner and his crew did an awesome job repairing the shoreline. They had great attention to detail and exceptional customer service. Tanner also provided detailed and timely updates on schedules and project progress. I highly recommend them!
